PhyZual - 0005 Lynda Part Three

Welcome to the Global Village! As I posted this week’s podcast, I checked my Blubrry.com statistics, and I am excited and happy to share that PhyZual PodCast has officially been heard inside the Global Village.  Canada, Germany, and China have become our first outside the USA listeners.  A special thanks to those overseas listeners. Welcome. May you be happy. May you be peaceful. May you be free.

Lynda and I are already having a blast as we take off on this week’s segment. Things begin to come full circle in this week’s episode as we draw close to the end of the first conversation. Lynda’s laugh and southern draw are as prominent as ever as she divulges her icon of success. The longest PhyZual podcast to date, much ground is covered to tie together all three parts, but don’t get too comfy, it goes by fast as things finally begin to meatball at our weekly reference point.

Feedback and Comments are encouraged, and know that I am taking steps to have a method for you to leave audio feedback so that I can podcast your two cents right along side my own. In the meantime, keep the discussion going by leaving your comments on the page with the episode you wish to comment on. Agree or Disagree, that is what it is all about. Claim your reference in the universe.

Success, what does it look like to you? Who are your examples of successful people? I’d like to say thanks to everyone for listening. It’s been great to share some of myself with you!

Ok, this one is good. You talk of Gene Simmons which is right up my alley. Gene Simmons was born in Israel and came over with his mother as a very young boy. He is Jewish, he did not know English, and was very poor when he came to the States. He had said in one of his books that he was made fun of as a boy because kids would throw pennies just to watch him chase them all. So literally he was a penny pincher from the start. Again, the theme of frame of mind comes up again. He wanted to make sure to never live the life of the poor again and he did that. And he takes care of his mother for the good upbringing she gave him.

Also, in his book he stated that he never had a car till around 30, even after he was rich because he believed why have one if he did not need it. Another thing he lived by was working everyday, not just 5 days a week. He says you lose 16 hours a week to weekends. Again doing the minimum, as he states, will not get you anywhere. And a funny side note off the subject is that he had a demon character for KISS. Many people thought he worshipped the devil but naysayers were very suprised when he could recite from memory many Bible verses. He for the most part gives most of his sucess to his dreams and not letting anyone try to change them. His reason for not getting married was control. He always states he’s been happily unmarried for X number of years. He wanted control of his choices and money. He stated when you let others persaude you you end up losing. For example, Gene found the band Van Halen, helped them make some demo tapes, he even bought David Lee Roth his first pair of leather pants for shows. He ended up not getting any credit for helping a great band off the ground because someone in the business persauded him not to even worry about them telling him that they would not go anywhere. He lost what would have been a great business decision and investment in the great band. So if you have a dream stay focused regardless of what others say even if it sounds good. Gene even copyrighted the moneybag symbol because he knew he could make money off of letting others use his symbol.

I got a little confused on the complexities of the black, white, & gray areas. And really, really confused on the hologram references. I listened to it a few times and did not get it. Maybe I think some things can be overthought. Lynda is a great addition to the podcast with her friendly conversation and thoughts. My words to her is not worry about her accent. Everyone has one, it just depends on who is listening to you.

Thanks for reading my comment. Good night and good on ya!
